We stayed with Hicham and his family for three nights and it was 3 best in Morocco! He was very helpful not only during our stay but also before and after. Till now we can't stop thinking about this time. It was really magic adventure, everybody in his village was extremely nice and hospitable. We couldn't expect more, really! We are very thankful for everything we receive there. To be honest, we were almost crying while saying goodbye despite the fact it was only 3 days. Surely we will come back! Thank You so much!
If you are a traveller and actually want to experience the real Marocco, look no more! Thanks to Hicham we experienced the berber authentic cousine, culture (we even we so fortunate to attend a traditional berber wedding! Wow!) and people, who were ever so kind and hostile! No amount of time spent by backpacing in Morocco will give you this experience! Will come again!
Staying with Hicham and his family in their little village was truly an amazing experience. When I arrived in Agadir, he was kind enough to pick me up at the bus station. He treated me for a snack in Agadir before we drove to his village. Hicham and all the people in the village were all very friendly and welcoming. Staying in the same house where his family lives, eating the local food, and just doing the same stuff as what his family is doing, I really get to experience the local way of life, which is really a wonderful and enriching experience. In the afternoons, we would go to the beach where his family would play cards or go fishing while the children would play football. We would then share a meal of bread and tagine. I especially enjoyed playing board games like Perudo and Rummikub during the evenings. I slept in a room in his house, but on my last night I slept in a hut by the sea which was really nice and relaxing. During my stay with him, Hicham taught me how to surf, and although I don't do any sport, I enjoyed it because he is a very good teacher. We also went for a hike to see the incredible paradise valley, a beautiful lagoon with emerald green waters nestled between rock formations and surrounded by palm trees. It was a very memorable place not only because of its beauty, but also because I get to try cliff jumping and most importantly, because on our way home, the car we were driving had one of its tire burst. We had to drive for a few kilometers with a flat tire and wait for a few more hours to have the tire fixed. On my last day with Hicham, he showed me around Agadir city and took me to the top of the mountain overlooking the whole city. Although I’ve only stayed with Hicham for a few days, you will feel that you are not just another tourist but most especially a part of the family. (P.S. Thank you very much Khoya for letting me experience all of this. It was a really wonderful experience. Sorry if it took me a while to write this review. I truly hope to see you again next time and hopefully I would finally learn how to surf during that time! Good luck and all the best!)
It's an awesome experience. Hicham and his family are very warming and loving. It's the total inmersion on the Magrebi and Berber culture sharing in the family village. Amazing stories, delicious food and the best surfing lessons plus trips to see the desert, paradise valley and others. Total disconnection from the world. Enriching experience.
Edouardo de la Mañana

...very welcome friday KusKus day...thans for lunch! ;)
Located on a remote hillside outside the main tourist areas, Hicham and his family are extremely welcoming and will immerse you in their way of living and culture - including great food, good stories and intense games of rummikub. Also, the surf is great - you will get the beach for yourself and even surf lessons when needed. For an intense and truly Moroccan experience, disconnected from the rest of the world, look no further!
Stayed with Hicham and his Family for five days beginning of October. You'll feel welcome from the very first moment, eat like a king and surf without crowds right in front of the village. There's amazing surf everywhere around; consistent waves at Tamri beach and famous spots such as Boilers, Dracula and Killer Point are all in driving distance. Hicham drove us around to surf, showed us old villages and other spots and took perfect care of us. This is what a surf trip is all about! Thanks for an awesome trip Hicham!
You want to learn surfing in the paradise? Then You must come to Hicham and his village, then here u find one of the most wonderful spots in Morocco Best food, best second family, best sports, best beach, best canyon High five my friend
I stayed with Hicham and his family for 5 days. After 1 year of busy work and studying in England, I found the perfect paradise to forget about the stress of the city and technology. We went to the Paradise Valley to swim, I learned how to surf and I enjoyed the amazing food that his family prepared. Also, I got to know his family and seriously, they are all amazing people. If you are searching a place to feel like home, not even hesitate, you need to go to the Surf House! The place is really interesting, as there are only 12 houses, and only 50 people live in there (and they are all family). Also, they have many goats, sheeps, chickens and turkeys, among argan trees, which they extract the argan oil in an artisan way. Sukran Hicham!
Desert point surf house is super! The whole family was great and treated me like part of their own. Hicham is a great coach! Patient and humorous as well as a perfect local walking culture book who explained to me the amaziri way of life. I stayed 4 days three nights I surfed and yes was able to stand and I was able to immerse myself in local Moroccan way of living.
Awesome teacher, very generous host and a welcoming family. Thanks a lot for a great morrocean experience.
I stayed with Hicham and his family for 4 days, and I can definately say that it was one of the best experiences I had in all of my trips. Moknari is a beautiful and truthful village, full of colors, smiles and good hearts. I have been away from my family for a whole year, and it was so great to feel again that warm of sitting and eating together, of people caring about you, of children running inside the house haha I spent beautiful moments there and I can't wait to come back :) Thanks for everything, Hicham :)
